Ask Mel Wednesday: Celebration Buttons
I raided one of our buttons supplies
Question: I have seen people walking around Disney World with Happy Birthday, First Visit, and even Happy Anniversary buttons. How much do they cost and where do I get one?

Answer: There are a couple of ways to get these buttons. Your first option is to get one at your Disney resort when you check-in. Simply tell the person who is checking you in what you are celebrating and ask for a button. Or if you are in any of the theme parks, head to the Guest Relations building. In all the parks it is right at the front of the park, all you have to do is ask any of the Cast Members in there for a button for your celebration. They will make sure that you get the right one(s)! Yes, it really that easy.

You will notice that there are no First Visit buttons. They didn’t make them back on my first visit and I didn’t even think about it for the kids First Visit. Oh well!

We went for our honeymoon 3 years ago and they gave us just married badges!! We lost a couple, or had them on different tops and they just replaced them. They are great as every cast member says congratulations and you invariably end up with a little congrats cupcake or the like at table service meals. Lovely!!
I love the buttons! There are definitely a lot of cupcakes and desserts when you have a button! How awesome that you got to spend your honeymoon at Disney! I think just being at Disney is reason enough to celebrate.

Yes, it was a magical honeymoon and am constantly pricing up a return trip but always too expensive .. Sniff .. Lol! Wish I lived closer!
