Ask Mel Wednesday: Riding the (Mono)rails
Today’s question was asked by one of the great fans at Mickey by Mel on Facebook – if you don’t like us on Facebook, you should – we are very likable!
Question: Do I need a park ticket to ride the Disney monorail?
Answer: This is an awesome question because let’s be honest, the monorail is a great ride! You do not need a park ticket to ride the monorail (or the buses or the ferries and boats). So if you are looking for an enjoyable way to spend some time at Disney but don’t want to purchase a park ticket – hop on the monorail and take a ride around Disney. You can see some of the resorts, you get a good view of Cinderella’s Castle and Space Mountain in Magic Kingdom, and you can even get on the Epcot line and take a high in the sky tour of Future World at Epcot!
Stay tuned for a full length article on free (or relatively inexpensive) things to do at Disney. Guess what, riding the Disney monorail and boats is on that list! In the meantime, if you have a question that you would like answered, leave a comment here or over on Facebook, or send me an e-mail. I would love to answer your Disney questions!
