Fabulous Food Friday: Top 3 Magic Kingdom Snacks

There are tons of snack options at Disney World and everyone has their personal favorites. Here are three of my personal favorite Magic Kingdom snacks.

  1. Mickey Premium Ice Cream Bar ($3.50) – this iconic Disney treat is available at ice cream carts throughout all of the theme parks, so while it is not unique to the Magic Kingdom it is still a great Disney snack. This tasty treat is vanilla ice cream enrobed in a thick chocolate coating and shaped like our favorite mouse, Mickey!

These Mickey shaped treats are available all over Disney property.

  2. Popcorn ($3.25 for a box or $5.25 for a souvenir bucket) – sure you can get popcorn anywhere but popcorn at the Magic Kingdom just seems to taste better to me. And my two favorite popcorn places at the Magic Kingdom – the hub in front of Cinderella’s castle and a small popcorn stand in Tomorrowland. Usually I opt for the one in Tomorrowland because apparently a lot of people know agree with me about the Magic Kingdom’s popcorn and like the one in front of the castle too! So I usually find a line at that particular cart.
  3. Pineapple Float ($4.49) – you will also see these referred to as Dole Whip floats. There yummy treats are available at Aloha Isle in Adventureland. (You can find a self-serve Dole Whip machine at Captain Cook’s at the Polynesian.) The Pineapple Float is your choice of vanilla, pineapple, or orange Dole While (a type of soft serve ice cream) served with pineapple juice. For a tangy and tart but still sweet treat – try the pineapple Dole Whip with the pineapple juice, my personal favorite. These are a refreshing treat, especially on a hot day!

Only available at Aloha Isle in Adventureland – these frosty treats my top Magic Kingdom snack!

Obviously these are just one person’s opinions and even then I had a hard time narrowing it down to just three. Did your favorite make the list? What’s your favorite Magic Kingdom treat?

  1. Great article! i like the Dole Whips and Walt Disney World has the best popcorn.

  2. Mickey Premium Ice Cream Bar is also one of the favorite snacks at the parks. I also enjoy the fresh fruit options now available.

  3. LOVE the Dole Whips! But I must admit, I’ve found a new top that I personally love more than the Dole Whip (but don’t tell the many friends of mine that I’ve pretty much made stop and get Dole Whips after telling them how great they are, LOL). It is the Nutella and Fruit Waffle Sandwich that you can get at Sleepy Hollow in Magic Kingdom. It is amazing!

  4. I love all three of these, especially the Dole Whips! I really love the souvenir buckets that you get with the popcorn as well. Jingle Bells!
